The Rules for 2004 Presidential Debates



WASHINGTON (Reuters) - When President Bush and Democratic challenger Sen. John Kerry open their first of three debates on Thursday they will adhere to strict rules laid out in a 32-page agreement between the two campaigns.
The rules govern everything from makeup to the size of the podium. Here are some of them:
